Re: It's Time To Play The Game of Love

Brooke couldn't help but smile as she listened to everything that Hunter had to say. She knew he was trying his hardest to do everything in his power to make their lives much easier. She also knew that in the back of Hunter's mind, he worried about everything too, especially about the restaurant. Which if hadn't been for the WWE and their help in promoting it as well as having the wrestlers eat there, it wouldn't have been as successful as it was now. Once Hunter was done speaking, it was her turn to say what was on her mind, and at that moment, she didn't know exactly what to say or how to say it. She had the thoughts in her head, but she was unsure of how to put what she was thinking into words that wouldn't upset or make Hunter feel bad. Brooke let out a sigh and just came out with what she was thinking and hoped like hell that it didn't add to Hunter's stress

Brooke cleared her throat and then began to speak softly to him. "First of all, let me start by saying that whatever you decide, whether you do or you don't get back in the ring," she started. "I will support, love and stand beside you all the way," she added to her thought. Then she went on speaking to him about the other things he told her. "But let me ask you this, with them not giving up on getting you back into the ring," she started, hoping this wouldn't upset him. "You don't think they would pull out of our contract as far as the restaurant goes, do you?" she asked him as she basically closed her eyes and waited for Hunter to start yelling, knowing that when he got stressed or upset, he had a real bad temper. "The only reason I'm asking that is because I know you have had concerning thoughts about that before," she told him.

Re: Wrestling to a Christmas Proposal

Brooke had decided to go to the restaurant early because she knew it was going to be busy. Christmas was coming and everybody would be dining out since they would be cooking over the holiday. What she wasn't ready for was the fact that she was busier than she thought she would be. But in the back of her mind, she was extremely happy to have all this business because that meant she was making money to put back into the business. She wanted this restaurant to work, not just for herself, but for her future children that she wanted to have with Hunter. Though she wasn't sure if he wanted a family with her, since he hasn't even brought up marriage yet, which really bothered her. Brooke let out a sigh and continued to work through the massive rush that they got. Once it had slowed down some, she decided to order a salad and a soda and go into her office for some down time.At least that was the plan until one of the waitresses came back into the kitchen and told her that she thought she saw Hunter's car pull into the parking lot.

She sighed, not because she wasn't happy to see Hunter, but because she was tired and hungry. Brooke went ahead and put her order in for a chef's salad and a large soda. She told the waitress to take her order to her office; she was going outside to see if Hunter had pulled in. The waitress nodded and soon Brooke left the kitchen and went outside while the waitress went to check on things in the diner, and the cook began to make Brooke's salad. Meanwhile, Brooke went outside and she couldn't help but smile when she saw that it was Hunter, who was now parking his car. She waited until he was completely parked and had the car turned off before she started walking over to meet him. She couldn't help but smile as she watched him getting out and then locking his car up. Finally, as they stood face to face, him with a smile on his face as well. "Hey handsome," she told him as she walked over to him and gave him a hug. "I thought you would be at home enjoying the day off," she added.

Brooke listened to everything that Hunter had to tell her. She could tell from the tone of his voice that he was annoyed about something, probably having to do with his contract, but she didn't push it. She just listened to him talking about going to the gym and grabbing lunch somewhere before going back to WWE Headquarters to finish up. Once he was done speaking, she began to answer all his questions in between replying to everything else. "To be honest, I'm not doing much of anything at the moment," she told Hunter honestly. "I know I should go to the restaurant, but I don't think I am," she confessed to him. "This house needs cleaned and right now, I'm just being lazy," she said with a chuckle. She could hear him chuckling as well and that made her smile even more.

Then she went on to address him not coming home for a few more days. "Take your time love," she told Hunter. "I know you have a lot of things to get done before you go back out on the road with the show," she added. Brooke wasn't much of a wrestling fan, but she did love going with Hunter every chance she got. It meant more time they got to spend with each other, which was always a big plus in her book. And he always managed to treat her like a queen that he thought she was in every city they went too. And she would never admit it, but she did like it when he spoiled her. Finally, Brooke snapped back into reality and began to speak to Hunter again. "Do you know how many months out of the year you will be gone?" she asked him.

Brooke was in her office making sure that all the bills were getting paid. And so far, since she allowed WWE to help premote the resturant, she was actually making a small profite, which in turn made Brooke happy. With the profites she was making, she could actually save for something she wanted, like a wedding dress, in which she knew someday soon Hunter would purprose. Or at least that was her dream. Anway, she had just finished paying the last of the bills when she heard her cell phone going off.

She knew it was Hunter that was calling her because she used his theme song as his ringtone. So, after she put down what she was doing, she reached over and picked up her cell phone. She pressed the green answer button and soon began to speak to Hunter. "Hey baby," Brooke said with a huge smile on her face. She put her phone on her shoulder so that she could talk to Hunter, while she was finishing up with the bills. "How are you doing baby? How did the renewing of your contract go?" she asked him.
