A White and Lunatic Kind of Christmas (2025)

from Christy on 03/20/2026 01:25 AM

Christy and Dean had been working all through Thanksgiving, the only dinner they got was from IHop. But now, after Chrisy throwing the biggest fit, anyone has ever seen, her and Dean finally got Christmas Eve and Christmas off. So, as they were flying home, Chrisy was looking out the window, trying to figure out exactly what she could get Dean. He had given her the most wonderful engagement ring money could buy and of course, she said yes to his marriage proposal, even though they still had discussed anything they needed to. Anyway, as she was looking out the window for several minutes, Christy felt a hand on hers. So, she turned to look at who was holding and gently squeezing her hand only to see the smiling face of her beloved Deanie Bear. She could not help but smile as she began to speak to him softly and gently. "Hey, my sweet Deanie Bear," she said softly. "Is there something on your mind that you would like to share with me?" she asked him. She could tell there was something on his mind by the look on his face and how quiet he was.

Dean didn't say anything for a long time. He just looked at her with a smile on his face. Then he took her hand, brought it up to his mouth and softly kissed it. Christy could see that he was planning something, she just didn't know what. And she was pretty sure that it had something to do with Christmas, but again, she didn't know what. After kissing her hand, Dean then gave it a little squeeze and then laid his head back and closed his eyes. The smile never left his face, which Christy found very odd, though the smile just proved that he indeed was up to something. She sat there looking at him for a little while longer and then finally, she gave his hand a little squeeze back. "You are acting so weird Dean Ambrose. I know you are up to something; I just don't know what yet," she told him and then turned her head back towards the window, pretending like she was upset but really she was deep in thought about what he was planning.

Dean couldn't help but let his grin grow bigger as they were looking deep into each other's eyes. Dean could tell that she was only pretending to be upset, though he wouldn't put it past her if she really was upset. As Dean continued to look Christy deep in the eyes, no words came out of his mouth. He loved the way that her eyes sparkled, especially in the dim light. Dean couldn't help but smile brightly as he continued to just stare into her eyes . He knew that he and Christy still had a lot to talk about, especially when it came to the wedding and their future together, but Dean couldn't wait anymore, so finally began to speak to her. "Baby," he started as he put his arm around her. "I was just thinking that maybe we should have a Christmas in Vegas wedding and work out the details for a bigger wedding later on," he said with a lunatic smile on his face. "What do you say?" he asked her as he continued to look deep into her eyes. Dean smiled as he saw the look on her face. She was both shocked and surprised and it showed on her face, which Dean found very cute and adorable. Dean knew that Christy loved Christmas and he also knew that she was looking foward to their up coming wedding, even though they hadn't really talked about a date or anything that had to do with the wedding.

Dean could see she was at a loss for words now and then it dawned on him that the wheels in her head were turning hard and fast as if she was giving what he said some serious thought, which she was. Anyway, Dean went on to explain why he came up with this lunatic idea, which was just part of his style. Anyway, Dean cleared his throat and began to speak to her. "So, I came up with this idea because, 1) it's Christmas and I thought it would be romantic to get married while it was snowing," he told her. "And 2) because I can't wait for you to be my wife, which I already have the wedding bands," he said. "So, all you need is a dress, which we can get one anywhere you want too," he added with a smile. Then he continued to look deep into her eyes as he waited for her reply, though he did have more to say. "Besides, I have a lot more planned for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day that I'm not telling you about, yet," Dean told her as his devilish grin came back. "So, what do you say? Will you at least think about everything that I suggested?" Dean asked with pleading in his eyes, which made him look even more like a baby face than anything else. He also knew that Christy couldn't resist the puppy dog look, especially when it came from him.

Christy thought it over for a few minutes as they were still looking deep into each other's eyes. She knew eventually she would have to give him an answer, but right now, she just wanted to enjoy being engaged and loving her Deanie Bear. Christy knew that Dean knew that she was deep in thought as she turned and looked back out the window. Christy could feel Dean softly and gently squeezing her hand, just so that she knew he was still sitting there next to her. Finally, after looking out the window for a little bit, she turned and looked at Dean and began to speak to him. "I love that idea, my love," she told him, which was the truth she did love the idea of having a wintery/Christmasy wedding. "But before we do all of that," she went on speaking. "Do you think we can do all the fun wintery/Christmas things that most people usually do?" she asked him, using the same puppy dog look on him that he just used on her, which it always worked on each one of them. And that's one of the reasons why they had such a good relationship on the way its way to being a great marriage. Finally, after what seemed like several minutes, but was actually only about 10 minutes before she turned back and looked at Dean with a smile on her face.

She could see the puzzled look on his face, and she couldn't help but giggle as she went on to explain exactly what she meant. So, Christy cleared her throat and went onto explain what she wanted to do with him. "What I was thinking was that maybe we could walk around in town as the snow falls, looking at the window displays and pointing things out that we want," she told him. "Then we would go grab a cup of hot and rich hot chocolate and maybe eat a sugar cookie as we listen to the carolers and watch the skaters on the ice," she said now starting to drift off to daydream land. Christy continued speaking, even after she knew Dean was starting to understand. "And then to end the day we stand in the cold, huddled together and watch the town like the tree," she added. "To which would lead us up to finding me a wedding dress and us a chapel," she said with eyes sparkling and a sweet smile on her face. Christy only paused for a few minutes to let everything sink in. Once she was sure that Dean understood, she went on speaking. "Then finally, I walk down the aisle and become the new Mrs. Dean Ambrose," she told him both happily and excitedly over their plans. "Because I love everything that we have discussed," she told him with a giggle on her face.
